Caleb Wellum is a historian working at the intersection of energy, culture, and political economy in the twentieth century. He is the author of Energizing Neoliberalism: The 1970s Energy Crisis and the Making of Modern America (Johns Hopkins UP, 2023). He is Editor of Energy Humanities and a member of the Petrocultures Research Group, After Oil Collective, and Fogo Island Collaborative Inquiry.
