An international workshop featuring scholars from Taiwan and the University of Toronto exploring extraction, agriculture, energy, environment, and culture across the Pacific.

IECS will host a two-day international workshop bringing together scholars from Taiwan and the University of Toronto to explore the intersections of extraction, agriculture, energy, environment, and culture, and the histories and relations that connect these across the Pacific.
The public workshop will feature research presentations from scholars based in Taiwan, followed by an open discussion and Q&A with attendees.
