The IECS hosted the launch of the Climate Communication After Climate Denialism series with award-winning author John Vaillant (The Golden Spruce, The Tiger). Vaillant shared insights from his latest book, Fire Weather, exploring the devastating Fort McMurray wildfires and their link to our fossil-fueled world. The event was moderated by Adrienne Tanner, Editor-in-Chief of Canada’s National Observer, and provided an opportunity to engage with Vaillant’s work on the intersection of climate change and environmental disasters.
